"When I heard that beat, the drums that they had come up with, it was like, 'Man, this is a moment,' " he said. " 'This sounds like where I'm at in my life.' So, we took it and 40 did what he does to pieces of music that I see potential in — he took it to the next spot. Jay-Z's on it. The song is phenomenal. It's done now."

Not everybody can do what Drake did...snag Jigga just like that and not just once, but twice on his album as well..Drake is coming up strong...

Surfing youtube I ran across this video of Jay-Z giving Drake advice on his come up in his career:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BNnOkwLlF2c
(Be aware the audio at the beginning is loud with the audience screams)
"At the end of the day, one of the biggest things I've been toying with on Thank Me Later is that it's kind of hard for me to come out and be like, 'I'm still the underdog. I can't rap about the same things [as I did] on So Far Gone, so it's just really trying to tell the greatest story that's never been told, which is the story of a rapper's come-up, and tell it without being corny or over-bragging or sounding like, 'Feel sorry for me.' It's going to be a very interesting record because I'm really going to have to dig deep and tell stories that people can relate to. But it's kind of hard, because my life is at a very different place now."

Not only is Drake looking forward to his collabo with Jay, but also he is set to work with Kanye. It won't be the first time these two have worked together, but it will be the first record they've done together. West directed Drake's video for "Best I Ever Had".
Not many liked the video saying that Kanye sabotaged Drake, but he insists that it was exactly what he wanted and wishes he only had a bigger budget. "I don’t really care about catching flack. Everybody is not gonna love everything we do… that’ll never stop me and Kanye from working together. Me and Kanye, when we do come together, it’s great. We have great chemistry. That definitely won’t halt us from giving people what they deserve." In just weeks Drake is headed to Hawaii hitting the studio to work with Kanye and No ID some more.

After mixtape after mixtape literally...we are now ready "Thank Me Later". Drake has not been able to decide a first single yet from the album, although now release date is March, so they say. There are options like "Fireworks" or "Light Up" feat. Hov, guess Drake has a lot of decisions to make...
Drake also says that "Thank Me Later" only includes collabos that 'make sense'...check out the article at:
